What is a DBS
The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. It replaces the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).
It is a Legal requirement that anyone who is applying to work with children or vulnerable adults within healthcare must hold and be able to provide a valid DBS – and the information shown is used to ascertain a candidate’s suitability for a particular role.

What's involved in the enhanced DBS service?

Here at Intellect Healthcare Recruitment there is only a one of payment of £75.00 +VAT we will then be send you a set of login details to your e-mail to complete your application as well as a notice to submit your proofs of ID once checked we will update you of the progress of your DBS
